ACES FALL ON THE ROAD

The FLYING ACES were introduced to one of the new Federal C franchises Sunday night in Flemington, The FLYING DUTCHMEN.

The ACES designated forward, Scott 'Jesus H' Preston to the Perkasie RED BARONS and recalled goalie, Doug Leonard. Nick Minarik was a healthy scratch.

Leonard came in looking for his first win with the ACES. But he did not find it. The FLYING DUTCHMEN scored 6 goals including an empty netter and held the lead the entire game. After opening the season with a penalty free game, the FLYING ACES spent 8 minutes in the penalty box (over half a period). Bleck, Kutsznier, Petersen and Smith were the culprits. ACE point leader, Kyle Turner, scored two goals in the loss. Kevin Smith had a goal and an assist. Mike Petersen had 2 assists.
The FLYING ACES look to rebound tonight against the first place, undefeated MAVERICKS. Another new Federal C team.
